Google Business Profile Setup & Management
The listing that decides whether local customers ever see you.
For a lot of local searches the map results sit above everything else on the page. Somebody looking for a plumber, a dentist or a dive shop nearby often never scrolls past them — which means your Google Business Profile, not your website, is the first thing deciding whether they call you. It is also the piece most small businesses have never properly set up.
We set the profile up correctly and fill in the parts that actually affect whether you appear — categories, service areas, services with real descriptions, hours including the holidays everybody forgets — then keep it aligned with your website so Google sees one consistent business rather than two that contradict each other. Where a listing already exists but is unclaimed, duplicated or simply wrong, we sort that out first, because none of the rest matters until it is right.
We do the same work on our own profile, which is a reasonable thing to ask us to show you.

Everything you get, no surprises
A clear, simple process
Find and claim
We find every listing that exists for you — including the unclaimed and duplicate ones Google generated on its own — and get ownership sorted before anything else.
Fix the fundamentals
Categories, service areas, services, hours, description and contact details. The unglamorous part that decides whether the profile shows at all.
Align with the site
Name, address, phone and services made identical across the profile, the website and your other listings, so nothing contradicts anything.
Keep it current
Optional ongoing management — posts, seasonal hours, new services, photos, and watching for the edits Google sometimes applies by itself.
Google Business Profile — questions answered
What is the difference between setup and ongoing management?
Setup is a one-off: claim the listing, fix the categories and services, align it with your site, hand it over. Management is continuous — holiday hours, new services, posts, and watching for changes Google applies on its own. Plenty of businesses only need the first, and we will tell you if that is you.
Do I need a website to have a Google Business Profile?
No, and it surprises people. A profile can exist and rank on its own. The two support each other though — a consistent website is one of the signals Google uses to trust the profile, and the profile is often what sends someone to the site in the first place.
Why is my business not showing up in the map results?
Usually one of a few things: the listing is unverified, the primary category is wrong, the service area does not cover where the person is searching from, or duplicate listings are competing with each other. Sometimes it is simply distance — Google weighs proximity heavily and no amount of optimisation moves a pin. We will tell you which it is rather than sell you work that cannot fix it.
Can you get me more reviews?
We do not run review campaigns, and we would be wary of anyone offering to. Reviews are earned through the actual experience of working with you, and asked for by you, in person, at the right moment — that is how ours came about. What we will do is make sure the profile is set up so reviews land in the right place, and help you respond to them properly.
What if somebody else claimed my listing?
It happens more than you would think — a former employee, an old marketing company, or an agency that set it up and never handed it over. Google has a documented ownership-transfer process and we can take you through it. It is slow, but it works.
Do you manage profiles for businesses outside Citrus County?
Yes. The work is not location-dependent and we do it for small businesses across the United States. Being local helps when the profile needs real photographs of the premises, and for knowing which nearby towns are worth listing as service areas.
